What is the issue?
Well there isn’t really an issue, but this article is about a famous panda named
“Tai Shan” from China and he was sent to go to Washington D.C. at the National Zoo of Washington D.C. for 2 more years because they are sent there until the panda’s are about 2 years old and then they get sent back to China to start breeding but for Tai Shan it’s different because he is not ready to breed until he is about 5 or 6 years old. Many people visit Tai Shan in Washington now and is very popular.
Who is included?
Tai Shan, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty, Zhou Wenzhong, people in Washington, and also the people that work with him at the National Zoo of Washington D.C.
Tai Shan- The panda because he is the main reason of this article.
Mayor Adrian M. Fenty- declared “Panda Day” in Washington for Tai Shan
Zhou Wenzhong- China’s ambassador who let Tai Shan stay at Washington D.C.
People in Washington- Who go to the zoo just to see Tai Shan
Workers at National Zoo of Washington D.C.- help Tai Shan with feeding
What would you do if you were directly involved?
If I was involved in this situation, I would probably not bring Tai Shan back to China to breed because there are plenty other pandas that can breed, but I really dislike the fact that he has to go back because I would just keep him there at the Washington Zoo so that the zoo would get a lot of money because everyone from other countries would come in and want to see Tai Shan and so I would raise that money to charity.
