Saturday morning, the Kenya Airlines officially said that the plane has approximately 114 people, including 105 passengers from 23 countries. They found out this information by having Cameroon’s military dispatch helicopters from Douala airport to where the plane had crashed (Southern Cameroon). Just before the crash, they were flying over the forested area where they lost signal with the airlines. Villagers have said that they heard a large “boom” sound that night but no wreck or parts of the plane were found. Also, the plane crash may have happened because of the rain (the plane was delayed one hour because of the rain) but it is too early to really know what happened.
